Eastern Outreach Director

When Devorah was in her early teens she encountered abortion victim photography for the first time. The sight of broken bodies of aborted children motivated her to become active in the pro-life movement.

In September 2011, Devorah was trained by CCBR personnel in how to effectively engage the culture on the streets through CCBR’s “Choice” Chain project. After witnessing more minds and hearts change from being pro-abortion to being pro-life than in all her previous years of pro-life work, Devorah was convinced of the effectiveness of CCBR’s approach. Devorah began leading local teams of young people in CCBR’s “Choice” Chain, which continues to have great numbers of people change their minds from being pro-abortion to being against abortion.

In the summer of 2012, Devorah interned with the Canadian Centre for Bio-Ethical Reform, following which she joined as full-time staff. She now works as CCBR's Eastern Outreach Director, equipping and inspiring pro-lifers in Toronto as well as in cities across Canada and the United States.

“Devorah’s training imparts the most powerful, lucid, persuasive distillation of pro-life apologetics I’ve ever heard. She is compassionate and passionate, exceptionally well-educated, and exceptionally gifted as a communicator. I’ve been familiar with pro-life arguments, but Devorah’s training permanently altered the way I approach any dialogue on abortion. Even though I’ve read books on this topic, the training made me feel actually equipped to discuss abortion in a healthy, nuanced way for the first time.
