Virginia

Virginia is grateful to serve as Fundraising Coordinator for CCBR, where she builds and maintains meaningful relationships with the incredible people who make CCBR’s work possible. She works closely with current and prospective financial partners, helping them connect with CCBR’s strategy and understand the impact of their generous support.

Outside of work, Virginia is an accomplished musician, having studied vocal performance for many years. She enjoys getting her hands dirty in the garden, dabbling in various artistic endeavours, and any time she can spend in the mountains. She also holds a Diploma in Christian Leadership from the Canadian Lutheran Bible Institute and brings a broad range of skills gained through many years of experience in a variety of roles and settings.

While Virginia had always considered herself pro-life, she didn’t feel called to become actively involved until she learned that Canada is the only democratic nation with no abortion restrictions. While researching the issue further, she stumbled across the Pro-Life Guys Podcast which introduced her to CCBR’s effective strategy for changing minds and saving pre-born lives. Encouraged by what she learned, she took a leave of absence from her full-time job to complete the summer internship in 2021. That experience confirmed her calling and led her to make a career change, joining staff in the summer of 2022.
