Toronto March for Life
Zachariah is the Volunteer Coordinator for CCBR’s Atlantic Canada Initiative. She leads outreach, supports, trains, and mentors volunteers, and builds relationships with pro-life groups, churches, and faith-based organizations to increase volunteer engagement and recruitment and broaden outreach in Atlantic Canada.
After returning to her faith in 2022 after two decades away, Zachariah felt strongly called to join the pro-life movement. She began volunteering with Nova Scotians United for Life followed by volunteer activism and team leading with CCBR’s partner Halifax Against Abortion — and talking to people on the streets of Halifax about abortion immediately stirred in her a desire to be more involved in advocacy for pre-born children. After attending CCBR’s Florida Abortion Awareness Project in 2025 and having seen and felt the fruits of this vital work, she stepped away from long-standing employment in Human Resources to join CCBR as staff in 2026.
